eBike Monitor for Shimano

Your e-bike’s live data on your iPhone: battery charge, speed, support mode, and cadence, streamed over Bluetooth and always visible - even on the Lock Screen.

eBike Monitor Live Activity on the Lock Screen with battery, ride mode, speed, and cadence

What It Does

Live data monitor

All your ride data on one screen: battery charge, speed, support mode, and cadence, with color visualization so you can read the support mode at a glance.

Live Activity

Battery, support mode, speed, and cadence on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island - no unlocking mid-ride.

Last known charge

The app remembers the state of charge when you disconnect from your bike, so you always know where the battery stands - even days later.

Battery management

Set your battery and charger type and get an estimated time until full charge as a push notification when your bike disconnects.

Available with a subscription or a one-time purchase, with a free trial in the app. eBike Monitor is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Shimano.

The Story Behind It

I ride a Shimano-powered e-bike myself, and the data I wanted mid-ride was always two menu levels deep on the bike’s own display. So I built the screen I wished I had: everything live, color-coded, and pinned to the Lock Screen through a Live Activity.

The battery features came from the same place - forgetting the state of charge after parking the bike for a week, and wondering how long a full charge would take before a tour. Browse the rest of the lineup on the apps page.

eBike Monitor FAQ

Which e-bikes does it work with?

The app connects over Bluetooth to Shimano e-bike systems. It is an independent app and not an official Shimano product.

Can I see my data without unlocking the iPhone?

Yes. The Live Activity puts battery, support mode, speed, and cadence on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island for the whole ride.

How much does it cost?

You can choose a subscription or a one-time purchase, and there is a free trial inside the app to test everything on your own bike first.
